I received my PhD in Mathematical Engineering from the University Carlos III of Madrid with a work on Temporal Patterns of Communication in Social Networks. The PhD was done in collaboration with Telefonica Research and the thesis, based on data mining of massive records of telephone connections, was published by Springer as an outstanding Ph.D. thesis.
